Data Deletion

Telar (operated by Ulian Inc.) can connect to Instagram professional accounts through Meta so we can publish content and manage comments and messages for you. You can remove that connection and have the related data deleted at any time.

1. Remove Telar from Instagram

  1. Open Instagram and go to your profile.
  2. Open Settings and activity, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites.
  3. Find Telar under Active and select Remove.

This stops Telar from accessing the account immediately. We then delete the account's access tokens and the Instagram data we stored within 30 days.

2. Or ask us directly

Email hello@telar.build with the subject "Data deletion request" and the Instagram username. We will confirm the request, delete the data within 30 days, and email you when it is done.

3. What we delete

  • Access tokens issued by Meta for the account.
  • Account details, such as the account ID, username, and profile picture.
  • Stored comments, mentions, messages, and performance data for the account.
  • Drafts and scheduled posts that were not published.

Posts already published to Instagram stay on Instagram; you can delete them in the Instagram app. We may keep records we are legally required to retain, such as invoices.
